Job summary

Seras is recruiting LGV Class 1 night drivers based at our Penrith depot to deliver biomass fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities, supporting renewable electricity generation for UK homes.

This permanent, full-time role offers stable, long-term work, enhanced night rates, a driver bonus scheme, health plan, pension and ongoing training including DCPC certification.

Qualifications

• LGV C+E (Class 1) licence with max 6 penalty points
• Good UK road network knowledge
• Understanding of EU Drivers’ Hours & Working Time Directive
• Valid DQC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Live within 1 hour of the depot

Responsibilities

• Deliver biomass fuel to Energy Recovery Facilities as part of the biomass supply chain
• Drive LGV Class 1 night shifts with adherence to Drivers’ Hours Regulations
• Maintain vehicle care and professionalism while on transit
• Participate in in-house DCPC certification and training programs
• Collaborate with Planners & Operations to ensure on-time deliveries
