Job summary

Palletforce have grown to become a predominate international supply chain partner to many of the world’s leading brands. We enable customer success through air, ocean, surface freight, logistics and technology solutions. This role is for a committed LGV Class 1 driver based at our Newbury site.

You will be responsible for safe, efficient deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and accurate record-keeping. CPC training, geography knowledge and a strong work ethic are important requirements.

Qualifications

• Class 1 driving licence is required.
• CPC training completed or in progress.
• Refrigeration and multi-drop experience would be beneficial.
• Strong geographical and logistical knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out various HGV driving duties with daily vehicle checks.
• Record accurate information using handheld terminals and paperwork.
• Ensure all documentation is completed and returned to Transport Office.
• Report delivery issues promptly to the Transport Office.
• Provide a professional driving service and meet customer expectations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Occasionally drive 3.5t vehicles during peak periods.
