Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Warrington is seeking a Class 1 LGV driver for permanent, on-site work at the North West Super Hub. You will operate on a 36 hours 15 minutes per week 24/7 rota, covering nights, weekends and bank holidays as needed.

Role requires flexibility to rotate shifts, load/unload, and maintain security of cargo while meeting delivery schedules. Training and uniform provided, with opportunities for overtime and career progression.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 licence: must have no more than 6 penalty points and no TT99 endorsement.
• Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised for long periods.
• Organised and punctual with initiative under tight timelines.
• Flexible to service demands and willing to cover varying shifts.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport mail between sites and through the delivery process.
• Drive fixed routes across the UK with independence.
• Load/unload vehicle, deliver to schedule and safeguard loaded items.
• Utilise technology to support tasks and maintain efficiency.
