Job summary

Nixon Hire is seeking an LGV Class 1 Driver to deliver and collect company units and equipment to customers. You will plan routes for fuel efficiency and driver time, inspect units for issues, and complete all paperwork to prevent disputes.

The role requires a C+E licence, at least two years of commercial driving experience, good local knowledge, and a strong customer‑focused approach. Flexible and overtime may be required, and safety practices must be followed.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence and 2+ years in a commercial driving role.
• Strong focus on customer delivery and service quality.
• Good local area knowledge and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Delivering/collecting company units and equipment to customers on time and at the right location.
• Inspecting vehicles and equipment for damage and cleanliness on collection.
• Completing all necessary paperwork to document deliveries and collections.
• Drive safely and in compliance with transport regulations and hours rules.
• Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks and report defects.
