Job summary

iGO Transport Limited, a Reading-based haulage company, is seeking 2 experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers to join our friendly team. This is a UK-wide role with potential for overnight stays.

Carry out deliveries across the UK, operate articulated HGVs in line with the law, and ensure loads are secured before departure while keeping accurate tachograph records. We offer weekly pay, modern fleet, and supportive management.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years' Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Max 6 penalty points; DR, DD, IN not accepted.
• Positive, polite, professional and customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Carry out deliveries throughout the UK safely and efficiently.
• Operate articulated HGV vehicles in compliance with legal requirements.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly before departure.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point.
• Maintain accurate driving and tachograph records.
• Represent iGO Transport Limited professionally at all times.

About Us

iGO Transport Limited is a growing haulage company based in Reading. We pride ourselves on being professional, reliable, and customer-focused. We are currently looking to recruit 2 experienced Class 1 (C+E) Tramping Drivers to join our friendly team.

The Role

This is a tramping position with flexibility depending on workload. Some weeks may involve 1 night out, while others may require up to 4 nights out.

• Store Deliveries
• Nationwide UK Deliveries

Requirements

• Hold a valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence
• Have a minimum of 2 years' Class 1 driving experience
• Hold a valid Driver CPC
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Have no more than 6 penalty points (DR, DD and IN endorsements are not accepted)
• Have a positive, can-do attitude
• Be polite, professional and customer-focused
• Be reliable and take pride in their work

£45.000 year
