Job summary

Staffline are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for our client in Lichfield. Immediate starts with 1000 £ sign-on bonus and regular year-round shifts on days, nights, and weekends. PAYE rates quoted with overtime available.

Full-time positions welcome, with free on-site parking and on-site Staffline support. Ideal candidates will have C+E entitlement, a Digi card, DQC, and a clean licence (no more than 6 points).

• Digi card and DQC required.
• UK driving licence C+E required.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Able to reverse arctic vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries with some consignments between depots.
• Ensure timely arrivals and compliance with health and safety rules.

Job description

Staffline are recruiting 10 x HGV Class 1 drivers with immediate starts for our prestigious client's site based in Lichfield. Assessment will be required.

PAYE rates for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:

• - Monday to Friday Days (06:00 - 21:59) - £19.31 per hour
• - Monday to Friday Nights (22:00 - 05:59) - £24.14 per hour
• - Monday to Friday Overtime Days after 46.25hrs - £28.97 per hour
• - Monday to Friday Overtime Nights after 46.25hrs - £33.79 per hour

We are delighted to offer 5 or 6 shifts out of 7 including weekend at any start times. This is a long term regular and ongoing work all year round. Opportunity of additional bonus. Part time drivers welcome as we have regular ad hoc shifts available.

Your Time at Work

As a HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve Store deliveries with some collections between depot's, ensuring timely arrivals, health and safety is followed at all times. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times, Weekend work available and part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply. We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.
