Job summary

Extra Men Limited is seeking experienced Class 1 PM drivers to support a leading DIY & Home improvement client in the Runcorn area. The role involves trunking work to Scotland, delivering trailers and returning with empties.

Typical start around 16:00 with Monday and Friday availability essential; some weeks may allow fewer days as long as Mon and Fri are included. An on-site assessment (theory and practical) is required before starting; after confirmation of availability, work will be

• Valid Class 1 Licence held and used for over 1 year.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, DG, CC, CD, MS, or IN endorsements.
• Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
• Must be okay with handball / physical work.

Extra Men Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 PM drivers around the Runcorn area. This job will be to support one of our most trusted clients which are one of the UKs leading names in DIY & Home improvement products.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with a well-established client.

The Role

We are looking for drivers to cover trunking work to Scotland, delivering trailers and returning with empties.

Monday and Friday availability is essential, with a typical start time of around 16:00. Ideally, we are looking for drivers available Monday to Friday, however we would also consider someone looking for just a few days' work each week, provided that Monday and Friday are included in their availability.

• 10 hours minimum pay per shift (including paid break)
• Overtime paid after working for 10.35 hours
• Monday to Friday
• Start times typically 16:00
• Daily bonus also available; amount varies depending on start time

An on-site assessment is required prior to starting, which includes both theory and practical. Once completed, and your availability and preferred start window are confirmed, work will be consistent and ongoing.
