Job summary

Woodland Group is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter Driver for nights at our site in Thatcham, Berkshire. The role alternates between driving and shunting with a Monday–Thursday pattern and occasional overtime on Saturdays.

The successful candidate will hold a full HGV licence (1+ year), have some multi-drop experience, and possess a valid CPC and tachograph card. Training and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Hold a full HGV licence (minimum 1 year).
• Some multi-drop experience.
• Current Driver CPC and tachograph card (digital).
• Conscientious and flexible towards hours.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV and perform shunting duties.
• Work nights with a Monday–Thursday pattern.
• Occasionally work Saturdays on overtime as required.

Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter Driver

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire

Shift: Nights

Working Pattern: Monday:Thursday

Pay: A GBP 514 per week

Overtime: Available, including weekends

Woodland Logistics are recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter Driver on nights at our site in Thatcham, Berkshire.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday: 21:30:06:30
• Some Saturdays required on overtime: 06:00:14:00
• Alternating between Driving and Shunting

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday: A GBP 14.50 per hour
• Saturday: A GBP 20.05 per hour
• Sunday: A GBP 26.77 per hour

Signing:On Bonus

• A GBP 1,000 signing:on bonus : paid over 8 instalments following successful completion of 6:month probation

The Successful Candidate Will Need

• To hold a full HGV Licence for a minimum of 1 year
• To have some multi:drop experience
• To hold a digital tacho driver smart card and a current, in:date CPC card
• To be conscientious and flexible towards work and hours
