Woodland Group in Thatcham, Berkshire, is recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter for night shifts, alternating driving and shunting. The role includes a Monday-Thursday pattern with some weekend overtime and a weekly pay rate of £514 plus weekend overtime options.

A £1,000 signing-on bonus is paid over 8 instalments after a 6-month probation, with extensive staff benefits and training opportunities across Woodland Group sites.

Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter Driver

Location: Thatcham, Berkshire Shift: Nights Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday Pay: £514 per week Overtime: Available, including weekends

Woodland Logistics are recruiting a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter Driver on nights at our site in Thatcham, Berkshire.

Shift Pattern

• Monday to Thursday: 21:30-06:30
• Some Saturdays required on overtime: 06:00-14:00
• Alternating between Driving and Shunting

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday: £14.50 per hour
• Saturday: £20.05 per hour
• Sunday: £26.77 per hour

Signing-On Bonus

• £1,000 signing-on bonus — paid over 8 instalments following successful completion of 6-month probation

The Successful Candidate Will Need

• To hold a full HGV Licence for a minimum of 1 year
• To have some multi-drop experience
• To hold a digital tacho driver smart card and a current, in-date CPC card
• To be conscientious and flexible towards work and hours
