Job summary

Woodland Group is hiring Class 1 HGV drivers in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The role includes Monday–Friday shifts, tramping, and overtime opportunities, with paid overnight parking on Woodland sites and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Hold a full HGV Licence (UK) and at least 1 year of multi-drop driving experience.
• Digital tachograph card and current CPC card required.
• Be conscientious and flexible with hours and shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 HGV on assigned routes, including multi-drop work.
• Work Monday–Friday with potential tramping and overtime.
• Utilise Woodland sites for overnight parking where available.
• Adhere to safety policies and maintain vehicle cleanliness and documentation.

Class 1 HGV Drivers

Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire

Pay & Benefits

• £39,000 baseline salary

• £1,000 signing-on bonus — paid over 8 instalments following successful completion of 6 months' continual service


• £500 referral fee


• Quarterly bonus: up to £575

  • Sunday & Bank Holiday: £27.98 per hour

The successful candidate will need:

• To hold a full HGV Licence minimum 1 year


• To have some multi-drop experience


• To hold a digital tacho driver smart card and a current in date CPC card
