Job summary

Royal Mail in Swindon is seeking an experienced HGV driver (Class 1/C+E) to join a trusted logistics network. You will perform trunking runs between Royal Mail depots on planned routes, with morning, evening and weekend shifts available.

Requirements include a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence, CPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 12 months; DBS check and up to 6 penalty points are acceptable. Pay up to £25.12 per hour with weekly pay and on-site facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong road safety and compliance awareness
• DBS check may be required and up to 6 penalty points

Responsibilities

• Transport mail and parcels between Royal Mail sites
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain safety standards
• Follow planned routes and scheduled delivery times
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism at all times
