Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for trunking between depots and national site runs. Expect organised, planned routes with morning, evening and weekend shifts available, delivering consistent work for 2026.

You must hold a valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence with at least 1 year of experience, CPC and Digital Tachograph, and meet vetting/DBS requirements for site access.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1/C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• In-date CPC + Digital Tachograph card.
• 180+ days of Class 1 driving in the last 2 years.
• Max 6 points on your licence.
• Able to pass vetting & DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between Royal Mail depots.
• No handballing — organised, planned routes.
• Transport mail between national sites.
• Complete vehicle checks and uphold safety.
• Follow scheduled routes with precision.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.
