Job summary

Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver for general haulage across the UK. You will drive C+E vehicles, operate curtain sider trailers, and complete deliveries and collections with strict adherence to tachograph and hours regulations.

We offer weekly pay, modern vehicles, and ongoing opportunities for the right candidates, with permanent roles available. You will be responsible for safety, paperwork, and professional communication with customers and planners.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Have a valid Driver CPC.
• Hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Have prior HGV Class 1 experience in general haulage.
• Understand drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.
• Be reliable, punctual and professional.
• Safety-conscious with a good attitude to work.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Operate Curtain Sider Trailers for general haulage.
• Complete deliveries and collections across the UK.
• Carry out pre- and post-shift vehicle safety checks.
• Ensure loads are secured correctly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic proof of delivery.
• Communicate professionally with customers and transport planners.
• Adhere to drivers hours, tachograph and road safety regulations.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and presentation.
