Job summary

Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for a well-established client in the UK. Deliveries are to retail stores using tail lift box trailers and require pre-booked routes with regular delivery locations.

You’ll work Monday to Saturday with start times between 02:00 and 17:00, offering flexibility for day and night operations. Competitive pay includes enhanced overtime and weekend rates, with weekly pay and ongoing, reliable work.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence required.
• Minimum 2 years' HGV driving experience.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good knowledge of UK driving regulations and compliance.
• Professional attitude with strong reliability and timekeeping.
• Experience with tail lift trailers is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete store deliveries using tail lift box trailers.
• Follow pre-booked routes with regular delivery locations.
• Conduct vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Deliver goods safely while providing a professional service.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and communicate with the transport team.
