Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Class 1 HGV Driver to join our team, delivering across Europe with fridge trailer operations. Shifts include Nights, Days, and Tramping to cover regional routes and maintain food supply chains. You will be responsible for safe loading, temperature control, and accurate paperwork.

Applicants must hold a full HGV1 licence with Driver CPC and tachograph card. Training is provided for fridge work. DFDS promotes diversity and inclusion and offers strong career development.

Qualifications

• Full HGV Class 1 licence, Driver CPC and tachograph card are required.
• Experience with fridge work is a bonus but training can be provided.
• Professional attitude and a strong safety focus are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 vehicles on regional and national routes.
• Handle chilled and frozen goods and monitor fridge temperatures.
• Perform daily walkaround checks and report issues.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Follow all road transport and tachograph regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured and handled safely.
