Job summary

DFDS Continent in Immingham is seeking a professional Class 1 HGV Driver to join a trusted logistics network. You’ll work with DFDS-owned trailers, select between general haulage or fridge work, and enjoy flexible shifts aligned to your lifestyle.

You’ll contribute to timely deliveries across the UK, perform daily vehicle checks, and uphold safety standards, CPC/DIGI compliance, and customer-first service in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Class 1 HGV driving is required.
• CPC and DIGI card up-to-date; driving hours knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Safe transport of goods using curtainsider or refrigerated trailers
• Timely collections and deliveries across the UK
• Usage of DFDS apps to give customers real-time updates
• Monitoring and maintaining trailer temperatures (fridge work)
• Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Accurate record-keeping of deliveries and driving hours
• Compliance with all road safety and transport regulations
