Job summary

DFDS in Peterborough is seeking a Class 1 Driver to deliver fresh and frozen products to customer premises across the region. You will sign delivery notes, comply with road transport regulations, and maintain accurate activity records in line with legislation.

Fridge work experience is desirable, and you must be over 21 with 2+ years of C+E driving experience. Join DFDS for a varied role with good customer service requirements and opportunities to develop within a supportive transport team.

About The Role

You will be responsible for delivering fresh and frozen products to customers’ premises.

• Working 4o4o days
• Ensure all delivery notes are signed upon delivery
• Adhere to road transport regulations.
• To accurately record all activities in line with legislation and company requirements
• To work within the remits of the European Drivers Hours regulations.
• To work within the remits of the Working Time Directive.
• Assisting with unloading

About You

You will need a full HGV Class 1 Licence, valid DIGI Card, valid CPC Card, experience with fridge work, good English verbal, written skills and excellent customer service skills. You must be over the age of 21 and have 2+ years experience driving C+E vehicles. Experience in fridge work is desirable but not essential.
