Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers in Motherwell for temporary/ongoing shifts. You will transport mail and parcels across the network, perform daily vehicle checks, and adhere to planned routes while maintaining high safety standards.

Shifts include morning, evening and weekend options. Onsite support from a Pertemps team is provided, with competitive hourly pay and guaranteed minimum hours.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for 1+ years.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are required.
• Strong awareness of road safety and compliance.
• DBS check and vetting needed.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail and parcels between Royal Mail sites.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards.
• Follow planned routes and scheduled delivery times.
• Represent Royal Mail with professionalism at all times.
