Job summary

Pertemps Royal Mail is seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to move mail between Royal Mail depots at Heathrow. You will operate across morning, evening and weekend shifts and perform routine safety checks on vehicles.

The role suits drivers with a valid HGV Class 1 licence, CPC and Tachograph card, and up to date on address and disclosures, with regular shifts and depot-based work in London.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 (CE) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• At least 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last year.
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence.
• Able to pass DBS and vetting checks.
• Driving licence showing current address.

Responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail depots.
• Follow planned routes with minimal loading or unloading.
• Choose from morning, evening and weekend shifts.
• Complete vehicle safety checks before each shift.
