Job summary

BE Recruitment is recruiting Class 1 HGV drivers for a well-established general merchant in Coalville, Leicester, offering ongoing work and a pathway to a permanent contract.

You will typically perform 1-2 national deliveries per day, hauling palletised goods across the UK with forklift-offloads and a professional, customer-focused approach. Monday to Friday with start times from 6:00 to 8:00, and overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Relevant HGV driving experience.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• A professional and reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1-2 national deliveries daily.
• Haul palletised goods for national routes.
• Forklift-free pallet offload (no handballing).
• Deliver across the UK with professional service.

BE Recruitment are working with a well-established General Merchant company based in Coalville, Leicester, who are looking for high-quality Class 1 HGV Drivers to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Pay Rate: £17.00 - £19.00 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work, with the potential for a permanent contract.

The Role

Day-to-day duties will include:

• 1-2 national deliveries per day
• General haulage of palletised goods
• No handballing - all pallets are forklifted off
• Deliveries throughout the UK
• Professional and customer-focused service

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
• Shifts typically 8-12 hours
• Saturday and Sunday work available at overtime rates
• Ongoing work with full-time hours available
