Job description

Job Title: Class 1 HGV Driver

24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting for a Class 1 HGV Driver on behalf of our client, a major retailer in the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector based in Livingston (EH54 8AS).

Responsibilities:

• Trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK from the RDC
• Working on various shifts to suit drivers, including early mornings and weekends
• Some handball may be required on deliveries

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 / C+E License; Class 2 / C License
• No more than 3 points (No DDs, DRs, TTs or INs)
• Valid Tacho and CPC cards
• At least 1 year of road experience on HGV required

Work Details:

• Long-term ongoing position with modern trucks and consistent work
• Shift patterns include early mornings (04:00-06:00), with options for days or nights, including every 2nd Saturday or Sunday

Pay Rates:

• Days: £16.97 per hour
• Nights: £18.15 per hour
• Overtime after 42.50 hours: Days £22.57, Nights £24.14
