Job Opportunity: HGV Driver

Due to an increase in business, Driver Hire Glasgow is looking to recruit experienced Class 1 & 2, HGV 1 & 2, Cat C+E and C drivers for ongoing work with Merkland Tanks in Govan.

Requirements

• UK C+E and C licence with digital tacho card and full CPC
• Experience operating Gully Suckers
• Physically fit and capable of lifting materials
• Ability to drive HGV loaded with liquid wastes
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
• Understanding of driver hours and regulations

Pay and Hours

• Basic PAYE rate from £13.60 – £19.80 per hour
• Includes holiday pay, pension benefits, and all PAYE and National Insurance contributions paid directly to HMRC
• Working pattern may vary, with overtime payments after 8 hours
