HGV 1 Driver Position in Livingston

Manpower is currently looking for HGV 1 drivers to work with one of our clients based in Livingston.

Working Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Compensation:

• £16.00 per hour + overtime
• Weekly pay

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises.
• Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned.
• Checking load security and weight distribution according to latest safe working practices at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintaining vehicles to Company standards by reporting any defects.
• Ensuring vehicles are in a safe condition with daily checks completed before use and operated safely.

Essential Skills:

• Valid HGV Class 1 license with no more than 6 points.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Knowledge of the working time directive.
