We are seeking three experienced HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based near Bolton.

You will need to be 25 or older, have held your Class 1 (Cat C & E) licence for at least three years, and have no more than 6 points.

We require 2 day drivers and 1 night driver.

The shift pattern is 4 days on, 2 days off.

The role involves completing deliveries to retail outlets (3 stores per shift).

All goods will be palletised, and deliveries will be made using an electric pallet truck.

The initial contract is for three months until the end of August, with potential for extension or permanent placement.

Full training will be provided, and during the training and induction period, you will work alongside an experienced driver who will demonstrate procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Safely load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre- and post-use vehicle checks daily.
• Adhere to all safety protocols during driving and loading/unloading procedures.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
• Valid commercial driving licence with relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
