Job summary

Brightwork Ltd is recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for shifts based at a Livingston site. Immediate starts available with assessment. PAYE rates: Days £17.24/hr, Bank Holidays Days £25.85/hr, Overtime Days £25.85/hr (after 46.25 hours).

5–6 shifts weekly including weekends; part-time drivers welcome for ad hoc shifts. Role involves store deliveries and occasional depot collections; starts between 3am and 6am and continue until finish.

Qualifications

• Digi card and DQC required where applicable.
• UK driving licence C+E.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Proven HGV driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/store deliveries with some collections between depots.
• Follow health and safety rules at all times.
• Adhere to variable shift times starting between 3am and 6am.
• Maintain timely arrivals and handle on-site parking and unloading.

Job description

Brightwork are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers with immediate starts for our prestigious client's site based in Livingston. Assessment will be required.
PAYE rates for the role of HGV 1 driver are as follows:

• Days - £17.24 per hour
• Bank Holidays Days - £25.85 per hour
• Overtime Days (after 46.25 hours) - £25.85 per hour

We are delighted to offer 5 or 6 shifts out of 7 including weekend at any start times. This is a long term regular and ongoing work all year round. Opportunity of additional bonus. Part time drivers welcome as we have regular ad hoc shifts available.

Your Time at Work

• As a HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve store deliveries with some collections between depot's, ensuring timely arrivals and that health and safety is followed at all times.
• The shifts start between 3am and 6am and run until finish.
• In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times. Weekend work available and part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have -

• No more than 6 points
• Digi card and DQC
• U.K. driving licence C+E
• Competent at reversing arctic vehicles
• Prior experience within a HGV Driving role.
