Job summary

Winner Recruitment is hiring a Class 1 Walking Floor Driver for our Pollington operation. You will operate Class 1 Walking Floor vehicles on planned routes, perform daily checks, and maintain high safety standards while delivering and collecting loads.

We offer competitive hourly pay, regular ongoing work, weekly pay, immediate starts, and a supportive transport team with well-maintained fleet.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Minimum 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.
• Walking Floor experience preferred.
• Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Good understanding of driver regulations and road transport legislation.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 Walking Floor vehicles across planned routes.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting procedures.
• Deliver and collect loads efficiently while maintaining safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with tachograph, driving hours, and transport legislation.
• Complete all relevant paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism when representing the business.

Location: Pollington
Pay Rate: £19.05 - £20.17 per hour

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (HGV Class 1 / C+E) Walking Floor Drivers to join our growing transport operation based in Pollington. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work, competitive rates of pay, and long-term opportunities.
