Job summary

GXO is expanding its Transport team in Rochdale (OL16 4NZ) and is looking for dedicated Class 1 drivers to join our full-time, permanent role. You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, on a shift pattern of Monday to Friday with early start times.

Qualifications

• A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate GXO company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner.
• Complete all necessary paperwork correctly, in full and on time.
• Be compliant with Driver's hours, Tachograph, Working Time, and Road Traffic Act regulations.
• Work 40 hours per week on a Mon-Fri shift with early start times, with occasional night outs depending on operational requirements.
