Job summary

XPO Logistics is recruiting Class 1 drivers with crane experience to support Ibstock Brick in Nottingham. The role offers a guaranteed salary with nights out required, and a competitive overall package including overtime pay. You will drive new HGVs and handle crane-assisted offloads, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Salary is £46,236 per year, with £26.20 per night out and additional overtime pay. Benefits include holiday pay, discounts, cycle-to-work, a pension, and CPC training updates.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence (CE) with CPC & Digital Tacho card.
• Crane experience; ALLMI brick grab accreditation preferred but training provided.
• No more than six points on licence and no DD/DR/IN endorsements.
• Good knowledge of UK roads nationally.

Responsibilities

• Drive brand-new HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete mechanical offloads delivering brick products with HIAB cranes.
• Ensure goods are strapped/restrained before journeys.
• Deliver to new build housing sites, construction sites, green areas and builders merchants.
• Be flexible for nights out and driving different vehicles as required.
• Nights out are required.
