Job summary

XPO Logistics Europe in Sherburn in Elmet is seeking Class 1 HGV Drivers for a permanent contract. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £18.19 with the opportunity to work extra shifts.

You will trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites and drive new equipment. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence (C+E), a valid CPC, and good knowledge of the UK road network. This highly safety-driven role requires no manual handling.

Qualifications

• You’ll need a full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Only up to six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• A valid CPC and Digital Tacho card.
• Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.

Responsibilities

• Trunk full loads between British Gypsum sites.
• Drive new equipment and pull new trailers.
• Work in a safety-driven environment.
• No manual handling, all loads will be loaded and tipped by British Gypsum.
