Job summary

People Solutions currently seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team in Brighouse. You will conduct trunk runs, operate Class 1 vehicles, and complete daily checks while upholding safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires a valid UK CE licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph card, plus at least 12 months CE driving experience and clean license with limited penalty points.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Category CE Licence
• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category CE vehicles
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points on your licence
• No major endorsement codes including IN, DR, DD, or TT
• Excellent communication and timekeeping skills
• A professional and reliable work ethic

Responsibilities

• Conducting trunk runs safely and efficiently
• Operating Class 1 vehicles in line with company procedures and road transport regulations
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring vehicles are kept clean and well presented
• Safely loading and securing goods before departure
• Adhering to all health, safety, and compliance standards
