Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our 24/7 operation in Grange Park (NN4). Roles include multidrop and trunking, with varied start times, including nights and weekends. Pay starts at £20.49 per hour, rising to peak rates during promo periods.

Expect professional customer engagement and strict adherence to driving hours and tachograph rules. You can be part of a full-time or part-time arrangement with PAYE handling and advanced holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driver Cards (Driving Licence, CPC and DIGI Cards)
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 licence + 2 years Class 1 driving experience
• Previous store deliveries experience preferred but not essential
• Max 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DR, CD or DD)
• Weekend availability essential for 24/7 operation
• Strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Perform 1-6 drops per shift (multidrop & trunking)
• Handle various loads, cages and pallets
• Complete store deliveries and trunking tasks
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and log tachograph data
• Ensure Working Time Directive and driving hours compliance
• Present a professional brand image at stores
