Job summary

Driver Require is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (LGV C+E) drivers for a client based in Grange Park, Northampton (NN4). The role offers pay rates from £22.41 to £25.78 per hour, with 10 hours guaranteed pay and regular shifts across days, nights and weekends.

Duties include store deliveries (typically 5–8 per shift), trunking on night shifts, and early morning, afternoon and night rotations. Two years' HGV Class 1 experience and a valid licence are required; tachograph rules and road safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 1 / C+E driving experience.
• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Good knowledge of tachograph legislation and drivers' hours regulations.
• Maximum 6 points on your driving licence.
• No DD, DR, IN or other major endorsements.
• Reliable, professional and hardworking attitude.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Store deliveries, typically 5–8 deliveries per shift.
• Collections and trunking work on night shifts.
• Early morning, afternoon and night shifts available.
• Monday–Friday work, with some weekend shifts required.
• 4 on / 4 off shift patterns also available.
• Paid driving assessments.
• Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and professionally.
• Complying with tachograph, driving hours and road safety regulations.
