Job summary

Join Gi Group supporting one of the UK's biggest Logistics clients as a Class 1 Driver, based in Northampton. The role offers ongoing temporary employment with PAYE earnings from £20.49 per hour to £25.77 per hour.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, electronic tachograph records, and delivering store orders while maintaining professional customer service. Weekend availability is essential for this 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driver Card, CPC and DIGI Card.
• Minimum 2 years Class 1 licence plus 2 years Class 1 driving experience.
• Max 6 penalty points (no DR, CD or DD offences).
• Weekend availability is essential for this 24/7 operation.
• Previous store deliveries experience preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out varied deliveries, store deliveries, drinks and trunking work.
• Conduct thorough vehicle checks and maintain digital tachograph records.
• Adhere to Working Time Directive and Driving Hours regulations to ensure compliance.
• Present a professional image of the brand at customer stores.
