Job summary

R&V is seeking Class 1 drivers to work with a well-known and respected company. You will be involved in depot-to-depot trunking, delivering company and third-party products to specified locations and ensuring paperwork is completed accurately.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of Class 1 driving experience, a Full UK driving licence, National Insurance Number, right to work in the UK, good English, and flexibility in start times. Ongoing work and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Class 1 driving.
• National Insurance Number.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good level of English.
• Flexibility in starting times.

Responsibilities

• Depo to Depo, trunking.
• Deliver company and third party products to locations per schedule.
• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork.
• Observe and adhere to company rules, including health and safety.
• Maintain knowledge of transport operations.
• Manage own working time per Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed.
• Ensure PODs are signed and returned to Transport Office after delivery.
• Aim to achieve fuel efficiency targets set by the business.
• Any other duties as reasonably required.
