Job summary

Join Manpower in Normanton (WF6) as a Class 1 Trunking Driver. Monday to Friday shifts with 3pm starts, plus 6am starts on some days, offering free weekends and bank holidays. Modern vehicles and trunking routes with trailer drops and swaps—no handballing required.

The role requires a valid LGV C+E licence, CPC and DIGI tachograph card, and ideally 12 months Class 1 experience. ADR is preferred but not essential, with FORS Gold standard vehicle operations.

Qualifications

• Valid LGV C+E (Class 1) licence.
• Up-to-date CPC and DIGI tacho card.
• Ideally 12 months experience driving Class 1 HGVs.
• Maximum of 6 points on licence (no DD, DR, or IN endorsements)

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Completing drop and swap trailer runs between key UK locations: Normanton, Ferrybridge, Burton, Bradford, and back.
• Ensuring all loads are safely secured and compliant.
• Driving modern, well-maintained vehicles to FORS Gold standards

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, starting from 3pm we also have days startign at 6am
Pay Rate: Days £15.96 and afters and nights £18.13 per hour
