Manpower UK is recruiting for a Class 1 Driver in Crawley on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role offers an hourly pay of £23.45–£25.53 and various shifts. You will join a respected logistics operation with nationwide coverage and opportunities for ongoing work.

The job requires a valid UK C+E licence, Driver CPC and Tachograph card, and up to six penalty points. You will operate routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, carrying out checks and paperwork with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year of Class 1 driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong understanding of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
