Job summary

Class 1 Personnel are recruiting a Class 1 Driver for a large distribution company. The role covers collection and delivery of parcels between depots, following Health and Safety guidelines to ensure safe operations.

The position is based at Colnbrook with peak-period shifts offered as needed. Candidates must hold a UK Class 1 / CE licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, provide last five years history, and be prepared for a UK criminal check.

Qualifications

• Hold a UK issued Class 1 / C+E licence for at least 12 months
• Have at least 180 days / 6 months Class 1 driving experience within the past year
• Hold a valid and up-to-date Digital Tachograph card
• Hold a valid and up-to-date Driver CPC card
• Have no more than 6 points on their licence
• Licence codes will be checked against Royal Mail criteria
• Must be able to get to Langley for 02:00am
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal check

Responsibilities

• Driving a Class 1 Lorry in the safest manner possible
• Quick response to all requirements as this is a busy quick paced environment
• Support all transport related duties
• Follow direction from senior staff and contribute to the overall success of the operation.
