Job summary

h-g-recruitment is seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for shifts in Wellingborough. You will be responsible for safe, timely deliveries to national supermarkets and stores, with a focus on secure loads and accurate documentation.

The role requires a valid Class 1 licence (min 6 months), DCPC and Digi cards, and a flexible approach to start times. Our depot operates 24/7, including weekends and bank holidays, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 Licence - minimum 6 months experience.
• Must hold a valid DCPC Card.
• Must hold a Digi Card.
• Must not have more than 6 points on your licence.
• Flexible approach to working patterns and start times to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Own the safe and timely delivery of customers' products.
• Secure caged loads and transfer from depot to store.
• Operate point of delivery technology and complete driver checks.
• Carry out multi-drops within depot region.
• Adhere to Driving legislation and professional standards.
• Undertake professional development and uphold health and safety standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
