Job summary

Total Recruitment Support are recruiting an HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client, based in Stoke-on-Trent. The role covers days, backs, and night shifts with weekly pay. Temp-to-perm opportunities and parking onsite are available.

You will drive to deliver products, manage PODs, and assist with loading/unloading. You must hold a full UK C+E licence with 12 months Class 1 experience, no more than 6 points, no disqualifications, and be eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have a full UK C+E licence (essential).
• 12 months previous Class 1 driving experience (essential).
• No more than 6 points on licence; no disqualifications (DD/TT/DR/CD/IN).
• Right To Work in the UK; good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations.

Responsibilities

• General driving duties and delivering product for client and customer.
• Use of electronic POD and up-to-date technology; full training provided.
• Assisting with loading and unloading.

Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer

Use of electronic P.O.D and up to date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practice)

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

A full UK C+E licence (essential)

12 months previous class 1 driving experience (essential)

Excellent driving skills

No more than 6 points on your licence

No previous disqualifications (DD,TT,DR,CD,IN)

‘Right To Work' in the UK

Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
