Job summary

Great Bear Harworth is recruiting Class 1 drivers for night shifts on a permanent, full-time basis. Earn £14.40 per hour with an additional £1.00 night supplement. The role includes night-time deliveries, paperwork and vehicle checks, with 5 shifts over 7 days and an overtime rate after weekly hours.

The team operates under Culina’s distribution network with a focus on safety, reliability and professional conduct in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class 1 driving entitlement with minimum 6 months recent experience.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and drivers' hours regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail is essential.
• Able to work without direct supervision and stay reliable.

Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Follow health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of transport operations.
• Maintain professional appearance and behaviour.
• Plan and manage working time within Road Transport rules.
• Observe tachograph rules at all times.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks per procedures.
• Deliver to customers' premises professionally.

Job Description

We are now looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights to join our Team at Great Bear Harworth on a Full time and permanent position.

Shift

5 in 7 Nights - 18:00pm-20:00pm start window.

Salary

£14.40 per hour + £1.00 per hour Night Supplement.

Overtime

x 1.5 of the hourly rate - Effective once weekly contracted hours have been worked.

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
• Observe and adhere to company rules and procedures, including all aspects of health, safety and hygiene
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department
• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks
• Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times

Qualifications

• Minimum of recent Class 1 Driver- 6 months is essential for this position.
