Job summary

Great Bear Markham Vale is recruiting Class 1 Drivers on nights for full-time, permanent positions. You will make deliveries to customers’ premises, complete daily paperwork, and uphold health and safety standards.

Shifts include Tue-Sat 14:00, Mon-Fri 15:00 or 20:00, or any 5 from 7 at 23:00. Pay £14.40 per hour plus £1 night supplement; excellent benefits and a driver-friendly culture within Culina Group.

Qualifications

• Recent Class 1 Driver with at least 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Adaptable and methodical approach to work.
• Conscientious and reliable.
• Professional and approachable.

Responsibilities

• Complete paperwork correctly and thoroughly.
• Observe and adhere to health, safety and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of operations within the transport department.
• Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance.
• Effectively manage own working time in line with the Road Transport Directive.
• Adhere to tachograph rules and regulations at all times.
• Ensure daily vehicle checks are completed in line with company procedure.
• Responsible for unit and trailer, including temperature checks.
• Make deliveries to customers’ premises, acting in a professional manner at all times.

Job Description

We are now looking for Class 1 Drivers on Nights to join our Team at Great Bear Markham Vale on a Full time and permanent position.

Shift

• Tuesday-Saturday 14:00pm.
• Monday-Friday 15:00pm.
• Monday-Friday 20:00pm.
• Any 5 from 7 - 23:00pm.

Salary

£14.40 per hour plus a £1 per hour Night supplement.

• Ensure correct and thorough completion of paperwork
