Job summary

Best Time Ltd is recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for multi-drop deliveries to retail locations across the South of England. Opportunities are temp-to-perm for those seeking longer-term employment. You must be reliable, professional and fully committed to the rota pattern.

The role involves driving Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles, delivering stock safely, maintaining vehicle safety, customer service and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence and Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Good knowledge of road transport regulations and drivers hours rules.

Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-drop deliveries to retail locations.
• Drive Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles as required.
• Complete double-deck trunking duties when needed.
• Load, unload and secure stock safely.
• Scan deliveries and complete paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects.
• Follow planned routes and transport regulations.
• Maintain vehicle and stock security.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Undertake shunt training and cover shunting duties if required.
