Pertemps Milton Keynes is recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading distribution client in Northampton. Requires 1+ year Class 1 exp and a professional, reliable approach.

Role involves multi-drop deliveries to stores, 50 hours/week on fixed shifts (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat). Start times 04:00–12:00. Pay £18.52/hr with overtime £27.78/hr. Immediate starts available.

Qualifications

• A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Driver CPC Qualification is required.
• Digital Tachograph Card is required.
• Minimum of 1 year's HGV Class 1 driving experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No CU, DD, DR or TT endorsements.
• Professional and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to stores.
• Typically 2–6 drops per shift.
• Delivering across London and surrounding areas.
• Using a pump truck to unload deliveries.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring transport compliance.
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers.

Pertemps Milton Keynes are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a leading distribution client based in Northampton. We are looking for professional and reliable drivers with a minimum of 1 year's Class 1 driving experience.

Location: Northampton

Shift Patterns: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday

Hours: Approximately 50 hours per week

Start Times: Between 04:00 and 12:00

The RoleAs an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods to stores
• Typically completing 2-6 drops per shift
• Delivering across London and surrounding areas
• Using a pump truck to safely unload deliveries
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with transport legislation
• Providing a professional and courteous service to customers

Pay Rates

• £18.52 per hour
• £27.78 per hour overtime (paid after 8 hours worked)

RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have:
