Job summary

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established client based in Warrington. The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with average 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.

Rates of Pay: PAYE (including holiday pay). Ongoing shifts with day, afternoon and night rates. Paid assessment is required and fully paid breaks are provided. Shifts across Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• HGV CE entitlement.
• At least 6 months experience as a class 1 driver.
• CPC card and Digital Tachograph card required.
• No more than 6 points on licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to stores across the UK with an average of 2–3 drops of caged goods and some collections.
• Shifts include Day, Afternoon and Night with appropriate rate differentials.
• Occasional paid assessments and fully paid breaks provided.

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:

• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
• At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
• Experience of driving refrigerator unit preferred.
• Valid Driver’s CPC card and Digital Tachograph card
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements
