Job summary

Ideal Recruit Ltd is seeking HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers for a well-established client in Lutterworth. The role involves UK deliveries with 2–3 drops per run and occasional collections.

Applicants must be available weekends, with afternoon and night shifts. PAYE rate applies with paid breaks, and holiday entitlement accrues during employment.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 entitlement (CE) held.
• At least 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• Experience with refrigerator units preferred.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph cards.
• No more than 6 points for minor endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to stores across the UK with 2–3 drops per run.
• Some collections may be required.
• Availability on weekends; afternoon and night shifts.

Job description

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for well-established client based in Lutterworth.

The role will include deliveries to their stores across the UK with average 2-3 drops of caged goods and some collections.

The position requires availability on weekends, with additional work available during weekdays.
We are looking for afternoon and nights drivers.

Rates of Pay: PAYE

Holiday entitlement will be accrued during employment.

Day rate midweek £15.91 p/h between 06:00-13:59 (from 14:00 afternoon rate applies).

Overtime after 45 hours £22.83 p/h

Afternoon rate midweek £18.48 p/h between 14:00-21:59 (from 22:00 night rate applies).

Overtime after 45 hours £25.40 p/h

Night rate midweek £19.93 p/h between 22:00-05:59 (from 06:00 day rate applies).

Overtime after 45 hours £26.85 p/h

You will need to meet the below criteria to be considered for the vacancy:

• HGV Class 1 driving entitlement (category CE)
• At least 6 months of experience as a class 1 driver
