Manpower is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work in the UK logistics network. The role involves operating a Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between DCs and customer locations, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate paperwork.

Applicants should have a valid UK C+E licence, Driver CPC, and proper tachograph card, with up to 6 penalty points. The position offers regular shifts, competitive hourly pay, and full PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• 1 year Class 1 driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects per procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Maintain communication with the operations team while working independently.
• Follow road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
