Job summary

GXO Knottingley is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join the TJX contract on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work 48 hours per week on 9.6-hour shifts, any 5 days out of 7, with two shift pattern options throughout the week.

The role includes drops from TJX sites, liaison with transport offices, and the possibility of shunting to cover holiday leave. A valid Class 1 licence with C+E, Driver CPC, and Tachograph card is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK/EU Class 1 driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
• Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR/DG/DD/BA/CD/AC/LC or TT99 endorsements in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between TJX sites (approx 3–4 drops per shift).
• Communicate with transport office about delays or changes.
• Shunting experience a plus to cover holiday leave.
• Adhere to driving, safety rules and vehicle operation policies.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties as required.
