Job summary

GXO Knottingley is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver on a full‑time permanent basis. The role covers 48 hours per week across 9.6‑hour shifts, five days out of seven, with patterns including 09:00 starts and 15:00/22:00 starts.

You will transport goods between TJX sites, liaise with the transport office, and perform pre/post‑trip checks. A valid EU licence (C+E), CPC card, and Tachograph card are required, with no more than six points.

Qualifications

• Full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC).
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 current penalty points.
• No DR/DG/DD/BA/CD/AC/LC/TT99 endorsements in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods between TJX sites with ~3–4 drops per shift.
• Communicate delays, issues, or changes with transport office.
• Shunting experience is an advantage for holiday cover.
• Adhere to driving, safety, and vehicle operation policies.
• Carry out pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Perform other duties related to the role as required.
