Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester (Chiltern) Industrial is seeking a reliable HGV Class 1 driver for day shifts based in Hereford. Role involves nationwide and regional deliveries with curtain-sided trailers, mainly pallet work, and no night outs.

You will work Monday to Friday with optional weekend shifts, enjoying regular pay, paid leave, pension, and PPE provided. The position suits both new and experienced drivers who value consistent daytime hours, safety, and excellent customer service while adhering to

Qualifications

• Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence.
• Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements.
• Positive, professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Maintain a clean and tidy vehicle and complete inductions/tests.

Responsibilities

• Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles.
• No handballing required.
• Distance runs available.
• Primarily forklift loading and unloading.
• Trailer swaps where required.
• Monday to Friday working pattern.
• Optional additional shift every other week.
