Job summary

Cooper Lomaz Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking a reliable Class 1 Driver for our client in Newmarket, Suffolk. The role covers permanent, full-time multi-drop deliveries aboard a company vehicle, with loading/unloading support as needed and a focus on safety and excellent service.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 1/C+E licence with CPC and Tachograph credentials, a clean safety record, and good communication to coordinate with the office and customers throughout daily routes.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 / C+E licence.
• Driver CPC qualification/card.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Clean driving record and road safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Class 1 vehicle on multi-drop routes.
• Conduct pre-departure vehicle checks.
• Follow the daily delivery plan and communicate delays.
• Deliver loads safely and professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Ensure loads are secure and loaded correctly.
• Assist with safe loading/unloading of materials.
• Comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Report accidents and defects to the Transport Department.
